Will you be joining us?

Please let us know by Sunday, 16th August 2026 so we can prepare for your arrival — the form will also ask about any dietary requirements. It only takes a moment.

Where to find us

The Venue

Clissold House
Clissold Park, Stoke Newington Church Street, London N16 9HJ
Parking. There is free on-street parking on the surrounding residential roads, which are unrestricted on Sundays. We'd suggest allowing a few extra minutes to find a space and walk into the park.
By public transport. The nearest Underground station is Manor House (Piccadilly line), around a 15-minute walk through Clissold Park. Finsbury Park (Victoria & Piccadilly lines) and Stoke Newington (London Overground) are also close by, and frequent buses run along Stoke Newington Church Street and Green Lanes.

Questions & Answers

What should I wear?
Whatever makes you feel your best — South Asian or Western dress are both perfectly welcome. Please avoid pink.
Are you having a gift registry?
Your presence is truly the only gift we're after — please don't feel any obligation. That said, we are slowly attempting to convert Hamza's bachelor pad into something resembling a home, so if you're absolutely determined to give something, a small contribution to that noble cause is warmly appreciated. But please run any gift ideas by us first.
Can I bring a plus-one?
We've had to keep numbers to those invited. If you'd like to bring a guest, please let us know and we'll do our best.
What time should I arrive?
Please arrive around 4:30pm — the Nikah begins promptly at 5:00pm.
What happens at a Nikah?
The Nikah is the Islamic marriage ceremony — the moment we formally become husband and wife. It's a warm and fairly short occasion: after a few words, we each give our consent and our marriage is signed before witnesses, followed by heartfelt prayers for our future together. Whatever your background, you're most welcome to simply relax and share in the moment with us.
